The business was created to solve a long-standing problem in the kitchen industry — the difficulty of finding fitters who are reliable, communicative, and respectful of customers’ homes.
After years of designing and supplying kitchens through their sister company, German Kitchens Cardiff, Andy Brown and Danny Borge repeatedly faced the same challenge: sourcing dependable self-employed kitchen fitters who met the standards they expected for their own customers. Too often, installations were undermined by poor communication, rushed workmanship, or a lack of care on site.
Rather than accept this as “just the way it is”, they decided to roll up their sleeves, get back on the tools, and create Fit & Fix.
The aim was simple — to remove the stress, uncertainty, and frustration people associate with kitchen installation, and replace it with a calm, professional, well-organised experience delivered by a dedicated in-house team.
Between them, Andy & Danny have been installing kitchens for over 30 years and have been directly involved in hundreds of kitchen installations. Their experience spans everything from straightforward replacements to complex, high-end German kitchens where precision and planning really matter.
